How do I report a mistake or alternate answer in today’s daily clue?
Please use the contact form below or email editor@crypticpuzzle.com with the clue date or clue number (e.g. Clue #142), your proposed alternative answer, and the wordplay justification. Our setters review all errata reports within 24 hours.
Why didn’t my streak transfer from my phone to my computer?
CrypticPuzzle.com is privacy-first and does not require account creation. All streaks, preferences, and solved clues are saved locally in your browser’s localStorage. Streaks are therefore tied to that specific device and browser.
Can I submit my own cryptic clues for the Daily Clue or 5x5 Mini rotation?
Yes! We actively welcome guest setters. Ensure your clue meets our Ximenean standards (tripartite structure, extreme definition placement, unambiguous indicators, and fair surface). Include your clue, enumeration, solution, and detailed wordplay breakdown.
Can I reprint or embed CrypticPuzzle.com clues in my newsletter or website?
